The Pannenhuis - Bruges

This small, quietly located hotel near the town centre is only a 5-minute walk away from the Concert Hall and the station. There is a large garden with a summer terrace. This family-run hotel offers rooms with a balcony and a safe.The breakfast buffet inlcudes home-made jam. The intimate restaurant of The Pannenhuis serves fish dishes and lobster. * From the Town Centre: drive through de Smedenpoort, direction Gistel (N367). At 500m, you will find the Pannenhuis at your right side. * From the Hoek van Holland: take the E25 to Rotterdam, then the E19 or via A16 via Breda to Antwerp and Gent. Then take the E40 to Brugge. Take exit 8, follow the directions for Zeebrugge/Blankenberge (N31). After the first underpass turn right, Direction Gistelsteenweg, pass the Garage Volvo, After 500m you will see the Pannenhuis on the left. * From Calais: take the A16 motorway to Dunkerque and then the E40 (via Ostend) direction Brugge. Take Exit 7 direc-tion Zeebrugge/Blankenberge (N31). At the first set of lights turn left (very important!). Then after the First underpass turn right, direction Gistelsteenweg, pass the garage Volvo and After 500m you will see the Pannenhuis on your left. * From the station: bus 5 or 15 (stopplace "Phare").

Restaurant Pannenhuis, formerly a notary’s office, is a family concern, winner of several culinary contests and the favourite place for many of the inhabitants of Bruges. This gastronomic restaurant has an intimate atmosphere where you can enjoy many fish and local dishes as well as a vegetarian menu. The restaurant also has a reputable wine cellar and offers Belgian beers at reasonable prices. Please note that at Easter, on New Year’s Eve and during special weekends, it is only possible to book rooms with dinner.
