Hotel Gulden Vlies is a small Bed and Breakfast hotel in a stately mansion from the early 20th century with some unique ArtDeco architectural details. The house was build at the beginning of the 20th century and changed into a hotel in the 80's. You can find it in a nice lane with other stately mansions. The building has some unique art-deco details among which a beautiful glass door in the breakfast room. The name 'Gulden Vlies' originates from the order of knights that was founded in 1430 by Filips de Goede in Brugge.

The coast is 20 minutes away, Gent 30 minutes and Antwerp and Brussels is one hour away by car. In the surrounding area, there are many tourist routes to explore. We recommend to cycle to Damme, Lissewege and enjoy the beautiful flemish Polder landscape.

The breakfastbuffet can be found in the breakfastroom on the groundfloor. It is a spacious and cosy room with a high ceiling, wooden floor, nice mantelpieces and paintings. The buffet offers you a big choice : cereals, buns, bread, an omelet or soft boiled egg, cheeses and cold cuts, jam, honey, yoghurt, fruit and fruitjuice. Of course accompanied by tea, coffee or hot chocolate. A delicious breakfast with a jazzy or baroque tune in the background. Enjoy !
